About the Project:
Stephen the owner of this original heritage home located in the heart of bellevue hill called us with sewer problems. Like any old homes that require maintenance, Stephen wanted the problems fixed without aesthetically changing anything so he called us.
The Problem:
The property had a main sewer pipe which runs for approx 50m across the house collecting all the waste water from the property. When we inspected the drain we found that tree roots from the large fig trees on the council nature path had grown into the pipes causing a number of problems.
How We Fixed It:
With high pressure water we cleaned the drains and prepared the pipe for relining. As there were only sections of the pipe that had tree roots intruding we relined the sections of the pipe that required relining to keep the cost down for our client.
At the end of the job we provided Stephen with a detailed report and video footage so he could send to council and request reimbursement as it was the councils trees that entered the drain causing the problem initially.
